…. SSG bags Sardaunan Dogonruwa title

 

The Secretary to Gombe State Government, Prof. Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi has charged newly elected All Progressives Congress (APC) executives in the State to consider their emergence as a trust and a call to improve on the gains of the party.

Njodi this charge when he played host to ward and local Government Chairmen from Gombe South Senatorial District  at his Kaltungo Country home on Sunday.

 

Presentation of award

The officials were on a thank you/ solidarity visit where he reminded them on the need to be patient, harping sacrifices for the unity as ingredients for the success of  All Progressive Congress (APC) in future elections.

 

The SSG was particularly emphatic on the need for concerted effort towards ensuring that Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya is re-elected for a second term to finish the good works he has started.

 

Njodi maintained that the People of Gombe South never had it this  good since the creation of Gombe State in terms of key Government appointments and projects siting and execution, hence, the call for support of the electorates.

 

The SSG who also addressed the mammoth crowd in his Lapandimtai Community where he advised them to keep faith in Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya’s led administration, calling on them to support the 4+4  bid for more progress in the area, Kaltungo Local Government, Gombe South and the State in general.

Earlier,  Zonal  Chairman All Progressives Congress (APC) Gombe South who led the elected Ward and Local Government Party Chairmen Musa Wali Awak said, the thank you visit was imperative in view of the critical role the SSG played in their emergence in their respective positions during the recent congresses of the APC.

 

Awak implored the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) to convey their unflinching loyalty to Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, assuring of their total commitment to his re-election bid come 2023.

 

Similarly, The SSG also recieved in audience the Lapandimtai Community who came out in their thousands to show love and solidarity over his appointment by the governor.

 

While addressing the mammoth crowd, Njodi employed them to keep faith in  Yahaya’s administration calling on them to key in and support the 4+4 bid for better governance, peace and progress of Gombe State.

 

Speaking earlier,  the spokesman of  Lapandimtai assured the government of the support of the people, stressing that their votes from the six polling units awaits Governor Yahaya.

He noted that SSG being one of them coupled with the Governor’s performance, they have no choice than to support Inuwa’s 2023 re-election for more dividends of Democracy.

 

The occassion also witnessed the presentation of an outstanding leadership award in recognition of his contribution to the unity of Gombe South by Shongom Youths as well as presentation of appointment letter as SARDAUNAN DOGONRUWA by the Village head of Dogonruwa, Alhaji Bashir Isa Muhammad.

Meanwhile, Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has expressed sadness over the death of Malam Aliyu Obida of Kalaring Quarters of Kaltungo Local Government Area.

 

Conveying the Governor’s Condolence message to the deceased family, Secretary to the State Government Prof. Njodi said the deceased who was a professional teacher lived an exemplary life.

He called on the deceased family members to take solace and bear the irreplaceable loss, praying Allah to grant him Aljannatu firdausi.
