NYSC builds PCM’s capacity using SAED
The NYSC Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development Programme builds the capacity of Corps members on Entrepreneurship Development- Mrs Ada Imoni

The Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development Programme, a programme introduced into the Orientation Course content has been building the capacity of Corps members to gain the required Entrepreneurship and hands-on skills to cope with the challenges of unemployment and global socio-economic down turn.

That assertion was made by the State Coordinator NYSC Gombe, Mrs Ada Imoni at the 2021 Batch C Stream II Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development Sensitization, at NYSC Temporary Orientation Camp Amada Gombe State.
Mr Alhasssan Ndako Bida, the Assistant Director Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development NYSC Gombe , who represented the State Coordinator at the event, maintained that the scheme has created opportunities for financing of Corps business proposals through many channels such as Unity Bank-funded bankable business proposal competition organized to improve the ability of Corps members and bridge the gap in the quality of bankable business proposals. Other funding partners include; Bank of Industry, British Tobacco Nigeria Foundation, Access Bank and Leventis Foundation .
The State Coordinator, while encouraging them to take the programme seriously, said the period of twenty four (24) hours twenty five minutes in nine days has been dedicated to the SAED training in twenty one days Orientation course to be taught the basis of Entrepreneurship Development leadership, ethics and management Skills.
About one thousand five hundred and seventy five prospective Corps members were at the Sensitization.
