Work as a team- Gombe SSG tells protocol staff
The Secretary to Gombe State Government (SSG) Prof. Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi has tasked staff of protocol department of the Government House to redouble effort in the discharge of their responsibilities.
Njodi threw this challenge while addressing the Unit members at the Government House on Tuesday.
He said as protocol staff they have a great role to play in providing nothing short of best services in order to project the image of the state.
He said, ” As protocol staff, you must improve on how guest are being recieved and treated, their accommodation, and other services matters a lot.”
He noted that overtime, things have not been going well, thereby calling for change of attitude of staff towards improved and better service.
Njodi further stated that with the appointment of the Director General to head the department, Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya expected nothing less than the best, calling on all the staff to work as a team in other to succeed.
The meeting had in attendance the Permanent Secretaries of the Government House, Barr. Balarabe Poloma and that of Special Services and Political Mohammed A. Umar as well as the Director General Sa’adatu Sa’ad Mustapha, SSA Protocol Musa Habibu and other Staff.
