Apologise or be suspended- Goje’s ward threatens
Stakeholders of All Progressives Congress (APC), in Tumu, Pindiga and Kashere wards on Sunday, issued two weeks notice to former governor, Senator Danjuma Goje to apologise to the party or be suspended.

Speaking separately, at Pindiga Junior Secondary School Ward Chairman of Kashere, Mohammed Kashere said the ward has unanimously agreed to add two weeks to the already existing four weeks given to the senator to apologise or be suspended.
Kashere is the political ward of the embattled senator representing Gombe central, Monday will mark one month after the All Progressives Congress issued apology notice to Goje over 5th November 2021 incident where a life and property were lost.
Kashere said, “APC state chapter has given him ultimatum of four weeks to tender apology but he never came. He (Goje), is still a card carrying member of APC but we on own side Kashere ward we are going to add two weeks ultimatum to come and seek apology. If he refuses to come we are going to suspend him.”
The ward executives also declared that their loyalty is with the Governor Muhammadu Yahaya, whom they claimed has delivered the dividends of democracy.
He noted that the current administration’s achievements were uncountable, adding that “We will like to pass vote of confidence on His Excellency Alh. Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, for his wonderful job since the inception of his administration. His achievements are very numerous which are uncountable.”
The ward chairman revealed that over the years the state has enjoyed reasonable amount of peace, stressing that it would be defended at all cost.
“We believe in peace, some people whom are bad eggs in Gombe State are trying to restore kalare (militia youths) in Gombe State. You may remember what happened four weeks ago, during the coming of the senator representing Gombe central, alot of causalities were recorded. We believe in peace,” he added.
Also speaking, Assistant State Publicity Secretary Sabo Ibrahim, who is also from Kashere ward stressed that party supremacy supercedes everyone irrespective of rank or position.
“Whoever you are whether President, Governor, Senator, state house of assembly, the party is above you. He did the wrong things during his last visit and the party is calling him back,” Ibrahim.
Commenting on the chances of the party in 2023, and re-election bid of the governor, if Goje is suspended, Ibrahim said, “No, it won’t power is from God and not from man. If we dismiss him from the party nothing will happen.”
