Jack Tasha loses father, Gombe Deputy Gov mourns
Jack Tasha, Senior Special Assistant Media and Publicity to the Deputy Governor of Gombe State has lost his father at the age of 95 years.
The Gombe State Deputy Governor, Dr. Manassah Daniel Jatau, has joined the immediate family and relations of Late Baba Tasha Ankamu to mourn his exit to the great beyond.
The Deputy Governor in a message of condolence to the family said, the news of the sudden death of Baba Tasha came to him with a great shock.
Jatau noted that, even though death is a natural phenomena that could happen to all mortals, as human beings people find it so hard and painful to bear the passing away of loved ones.
He said, “While death is normal in life, and especially death of people at ripe old age , it is also quite normal that we mourn our loved ones when they depart from us.”
He said, Baba died at a time age of 95 and has done and left so much to be remembered for, we should rather celebrate his life and appreciate God for the gift of abundant life and the grace he enjoyed while alive.
He explained that as people who believed in life after death “we should not be too grievous about it, since we have a hope of reunion on the judgement day,” jatau added.
The Deputy Governor appreciated the contributions of the deceased as a Teacher, Community Leader, a philanthropist, and a disciplined family man who imparted tremendously on the society and his immediate family while alive.
He called on the people, especially the children to emulate their father and allow the legacies the deceased left behind to keep the memories and contributions alive for the advancement of the course of humanity.
He pointed out that the deceased shall be missed for his supportive role and contributions through advice and fatherly comfort, praying God to grant his soul eternal repose and comfort.
