We’re ready to chase APC govt – Gombe PDP forum insists
As preparation to 2023 election heats up, forum of former aspirants of Gombe State Assembly under the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), says they are ready to chase the incumbent government of APC out in the forthcoming of the general election in 2023.
According to the chairman of the forum, Sadeeq Gombe, their mission is to conduct themselves and do what they can to bring PDP back to power in 2023.
Gombe who was a former aspirant for Gombe North, noted that he still has intention to re-contest by 2023.
He disclosed that the forum has resolved to support whosoever PDP brings as its candidate for governorship, stressing that they have no option than to cooperate with him for campaigning for its success.
He said, “The forum has members across all the 11 local governments of Gombe state, that are real grassroot politicians as well as stakeholders in their various constituencies.We will chase the APC out with our votes.
“I want to appeal to Gombawa’s (Gombe people) to make sure they revalidate their voters card for them to vote out APC in the next election because of the hard condition that Nigerians are facing now.
“I want to use this medium to call on PDP executives in the state to carefully select the people’s choice candidate, they should not put their selfish interest that may cause them to lose the election.”
He revealed that when PDP is given mandate Nigerians would feel the impact of development.
According to the forum, they want PDP to win all the election from the President to Counsellors in all the 36 states and 774 local government in Nigeria.
“When PDP returns hardship will become history, even insurgency will be no more again in sha Allah.
“As a forum we promise to continue as loyal members of the party,” Gombe added.
