The Terranga Lions of Senegal have successfully qualified for the final of the Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon after beating Burkina Faso with a 3-1 goal margin on Wednesday.
Motivated by Liverpool forward Sadio Mane, Abdou Diallo, and Idrissa Gana Gueye all scored in the second-half for Senegal, to keep the team ahead of the game and in a comfort zone but Burkina Faso’s Blati Toure scored to close the margin.
Just 20 minutes into the second half, the goal scoring sheet was opened. Abdou Diallo scored from close range after Kalidou Koulibaly reached a corner with an amazing bicycle-kick pass.
Six minutes later, Sadio Mané handed a goal to Bamba Dieng.
Burkina Faso rattled Senegal when Blati Touré knocked a cross into the back of the net. But Senegal soon regained composure as Mané, sped to meet a penetrating pass, went one-on-one with the keeper and landed the ball at the back of the net.

Senegal will feature in their second consecutive AFCON final on Sunday, having played in the 2019 edition where they lost by a lone goal to Algeria, who has already crashed out in this year’s edition.
Senegal hopes to meet either the host nation Cameroon or Egypt in the Finals after the Semi Final match between both nations on Thursday
