Commandant Waziri Baba Goni visits Gombe Gov
Commandant Waziri Baba Goni State Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Gombe State Command on Thursday, visited Governor of Gombe State Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya the Danmajen Gombe at the State Government House.
The Commandant used the opportunity to present his letter of posting to the Governor as the State Commandant.
Goni also promised to enhance the protection of life and properties of the citizenry including Critical National Assets And Infrastructure.
Responding, Governor Yahaya, welcomed the State Commandant to the State and also expressed his administration’s willingness to work with Nigeria Security And Civil Defence Corps NSCDC to harness its potentials in the protection of lives and property.
The governor also appealed to the corps on the protection of critical assets in the State, While assuring Goni of the openness of his doors 24/7.
