Gombe United welcome Gov Inuwa Yahaya with an emphatic win
As a way of welcoming Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya from his oversea trip, Gombe United FC on Thursday, at the Pantami township stadium walloped visiting Mountain of Fire Ministry FC by 3 goals to nil.
The State darling team overcame their opponent in the presence of records crowd to clinch all three points in match day ten of the Nigeria National Football League.
Two First half goals from Yusuf Abdullazeez 9’42’ and Mohammed Aminu in 41′ ensured comprehensive win for the Gombe base team.
The home team was spurred on to victory by hundreds of cheering supporters from within and outside the State capital.
