We’ll sue Dattuwa, if he doesn’t contest for Reps – Akko Youths
The Chairman of Akko Youth Forum, Mal. Idris Maheer Kumo and others have threatened to sue Hon. Dattuwa Ali Kumo, should he refuse to contest for member House of Representatives, representing Akko Constituency.
Kumo is the current Special Adviser to Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya on House of Assembly Matters.
The forum’s leader who spoke on behalf of hundreds of Youth support groups of the APC made this known in a statement made available to Periscope Nigeria, on Friday.
Meanwhile, the Coalition of Akko APC Support Groups has on 10th January 2022 issued a press conference making a clarion call on Kumo, to represent his constituents at the green chamber.
However, Kumo, has not yet spoken to the public about his decision, but various groups are still making the call and urging him to answer the call otherwise they would Institute a legal action forcing him to contest for the Akko federal constituency.
The statement partly added, “Our constituency lacks the purposeful representation it deserves in NASS.
“This has made it become the most backward and poverty-stricken out of the six Federal Constituencies in Gombe State.”
