Gombe NSCDC Commandant receives SUG Achievement Award
The Students’ Union Government (SUG), of the Federal College Of Education (Tech) Gombe has presented to Commandant Waziri Baba Goni, State Commandant Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC, Gombe Command an outstanding achievement award.
According to the command’s Public Relations Officer DSC Buhari Saad, Goni’s award was in recognition of his selfless service to humanity in the State.
He revealed that the award was presented to the commandant during a one day public lecture organised by the Students’ Union Government (SUG) in collaboration with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Gombe Zonal Command.
Goni stated that the lecture had the theme: The effects of corruption in Nigeria development and the role of students in the fight against economic and financial crimes in Nigeria.
He disclosed that the ceremony was witnessed by all the Service Chiefs / Commanders in the State and top dignitaries from various spheres of life.
