Wedding anniversary: Prof. Namala Keftin celebrates 30 years of wedlock, Appointment in grand style
Christians have been urged to always give thanks to God in order to attract more of His favour and blessings.
Rev. Gideon Kwash of ECWA Church Amtawalam in Billiri gave the admonition during a thanks giving service of the Special Adviser to Governor Inuwa Yahaya on Project Implementation Monitoring and Evaluation (PIME) Prof. Namala Amuga Keftin, on Sunday.

The clergy who drew his text from the book of Psalms 116;12 with the topic, “Giving thanks to God for his grace upon our lives” said every believer should learn to appreciate God for his faithfulness in all circumstances.
The clergy enjoined Christians to emulate exemplary disposition of the leper who came to show gratitude to God despite receiving his healing along with nine others.

He commended the Governor’s Special Adviser for returning to God to say thank you and also congratulated him for his well deserved appointment and for clocking thirty years in the institution of marriage praying God for more wisdom, strength and good health.
In a remark, the District head of Kalmai Mr. Ahmadu Zubairu lauded Governor Muhammadu Inuwa for appointing one of their own as a special Adviser, adding that the appointee is one whom the community is proud off.

He extolled the qualities of Keftin, whom he described as God fearing, truthful and a gentleman advising him to remain focus and upright in the discharge of his given responsibilities in order to justify the confidence reposed on him by the Governor.
Responding, an elated Keftin praised the Almighty God for seeing him through thus far. He equally thanked Governor Yahaya for finding him worthy to serve in his Government, assuring of his total commitment in the discharge of his assignment.
Keftin informed the people that Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya is with them and is poised to bringing development to the doorsteps of the people across the state.
He called on the people to continue to pray and support the policies and programme of the present administration.
The celebrant used the occasion to advise the youths in the area to remain focus in their legitimate businesses, while urging them to stay away from alcohol and the consumption of illicit drugs.
