Gombe Gov Inuwa condoles with PS SSG’s office over death of his younger brother
Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has commiserated with the Family of the Permanent Secretary SSG’s office, Mohammed Umar over the death of his younger brother Murtala Mohammed, aged 48 years.
Delivering the condolence message on behalf of the Government and people of the state, the Secretary to the State Government Prof. Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi accompanied by the Head of Civil Service, Alhaji Bappayo Yahaya, and the Principal Private Secretary (PPS), Usman Mamman Kamara said Governor Yahaya received the news with shock, admonishing the family to accept the loss as the will of Allah.

Njodi said, the government and people of the state are with them in their moment of grief and therefore prayed Allah to grant the deceased Aljannatul fidausi.
Responding on behalf of the family, the chairman, House of Assembly Service Commission, Suleiman Abubakar appreciated Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for identifying with them in their moment of sorrow.
According to the family late Murtala Mohammed a staff of Ministry of Works and Transport died on Wednesday after a brief illness and is survived by his wife, three children aged parents and relatives.
He has since been buried in accordance with Islamic rites.
