Gombe lawmaker re-defects to the APC as he fails gain delegate approvals for a third-term run in the house
In a twist of events, the former speaker Gombe State House of Assembly and member representing Yamaltu-West constituency in the Gombe State House of Assembly, Hon. Abubakar Sadiq Ibrahim has re-defected to the All Progressive Congress (APC), following his failure to lobby delegates in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
In a letter made available to Periscope Nigeria, which was dated 20th May, Hon. Ibrahim stated that the reason for cross carpeting was because of the reconciliation between the Senator Muhammad Danjuma Goje and Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, and the decision of the Senator to remain in the party.
This decision is coming barely 2 months after his defection to the PDP.
