Commandant Baba Goni of NSCDC receives Living Hero of Security Expert of the Year 2022 Award

Commandant Waziri Baba Goni who is the State Commandant Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Gombe State has received the Living Hero of Security Expert of the year 2022 Award by Life Value Awareness and Leadership Secure Initiative, the organisers of Living Heroes Award Abuja, in Gombe.
In the statement signed by the Public Relations Officer, DSC Buhari Sa’ad stated that the award ceremony took place at the Command’s Headquarters, Gombe.
According to the statement, Commandant Goni was honoured because of his pragmatic and charismatic leadership qualities.
Other attributes are; his intellectual capacity in securing the great people of Gombe and complementing to the smooth operation of other security agencies in their efforts to fight crimes and criminalities as well as to maintain peace and order as Gombe State is the safest state in Nigeria in terms of security and conducive environment.
Apart from his constitutional duties as a Commandment of the Security Agency,, Baba Goni was also honoured because of his philanthropic nature.
The organisers led by Ambassador Oladipo Musibau who is the Team President, life value awareness and leadership secure initiative, congratulated the recipient for his giant strides in the security world, most especially in Gombe State as the great people of the State can now sleep with their two eyes closed because of the innovation and intellectual capacity in security network that he placed in the State.
“The Commandant has achieved relevancy, respect and recognition through hard work as a security leader”.
Musibau attributed the antecedents, achievements and recommendations of Baba Goni from their samplings which earned him the honour of the prestigious award and ambassadorial appointment.
He said they also believed that the honour would further motivate him to contribute more meaningfully to the security of the life of citizens.
Responding, Commandant Waziri Baba Goni congratulated them for the award and promised to justify the confidence the organisation reposed in him.
He said that security is their primary assignment and would not compromise in ensuring that the people enjoy adequate security, peace and order under his watch and dedicated the Award to men and women who works tirelessly to the success of the Command in the areas of their operations.
