Gombe Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board pays unscheduled visit to the Airport
The newly appointed board members of Gombe state Muslim pilgrims welfare board met for their first meeting, which held at the board conference hall.
However, this was before they proceeded to Lawanti International Airport Gombe and Hajj Camp.
Leading the delegation on the unscheduled visit was Chairman of the Board, his Royal highness Alh Haruna Abdulkadir Rasheed the Emir of Dukku and The Executive Secretary of Gombe State Pilgrims Welfare Board Alhaji Sa’adu Hassan Adamu, with other members.
The board also inspected runway lightning repair work where they certified that work has reached 99 percent completion.
Alhaji Adamu appreciated the level of work done and commended them for their efforts and courage.
They were conducted round the Airport facilities by the Manager, who expressed optimism that repairs would be concluded within the stipulated time frame.
