Gombe NYSC Coordinator lauds SAED programme
The State Coordinator NYSC Gombe, Mrs Ada Imoni said the Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development Programme introduced into the Course content has been a great source of inspiration to many Corps members in their journey to self actualisation and financial independence.

Imoni, made that known at the Closing ceremony and Exhibition at NYSC Temporary Orientation Camp Amada, Gombe State .

She maintained that the in-camp training had given them the basics, urging them to continue with the post camp training in order to be masters of their chosen skills, adding that NYSC Management has partnered with various financial institutions to make soft loans easily accessible to Corps members, urging them to take advantage of such opportunities from Bank of Industry, Access Bank, Unity Bank and Central Bank among others.
Meanwhile, the Assistant Director SAED, Hajiya Jummai Idris Reme said one 1,115 Corps members, comprising 829 male and 286 female were trained in the various Skills set and sub-set.
Competition was held in five classes and the results as follow: :
Make -up – platoon 10
Gele ,- 5
Food processing- 10
Braiding( Hair dressing) 3
Fashion design and tailoring- 3
