Gombe SSG lauds Halima Factor over provision of toilets, others
The Secretary to the State government, Prof. Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, has lauded Halima Factor Community Intiative for responding to Government’s appeal for contribution to provision of critical infrastructure in the development of education in the state.
Speaking at the official commissioning of twin-toilet and renovated facilities at the Mallam Umar Titi Tsangaya Qur’anic school at Ajiya ward in Gombe, Njodi charged public-spirited individuals, corporate organisations and non governmental organisations to emulate the Initiative in providing succour to vulnerable in the society.

Represented by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Health Alhaji Dahiru Kalla, the SSG also commended and congratulated the Halima Factor for recording the stride.

He encouraged other Organisations to partner with government, adding that government could not shoulder the needs of the people alone in view of dwindling resources.
While praising the proprietor and management of tsangaya school for cooperating with Halima Factor in constructing the toilets and other facilities.
He assured that government is ever willing to create the enabling environment for organisations to contribute in developing the state.
Njodi noted with delight the effort of the Halima Factor in not only providing education and food to the almajiris but according attention to their health needs as demonstrated by the provision of detergents and toiletries.

Giving an overview of the projects the Chief Executive Officer of Halima Factor Mrs Khadijah Kwargana said the initiative followed community engagement and needs assessment of the beneficiaries aimed at addressing their basic needs to make learning attractive.
Kwargana also explained that all the teachers whom are volunteers were well equiped through a special training programme by the Halima factor initiative.
In their goodwill messages, representative of Industrial Training Fund ITF, Engr. Ibrahim Yusuf, Mallam Nazir Bashir, and the Co-ordinator BESDA Dr. Abdullahi Garkuwa appreciated Halima Factor for working tirelessly towards supporting government’s effort to reduce illiteracy in the state.
Speaking earlier, Managing Director Halima Factor Community Initiative Mrs Halima Usman said this was part of their missions objective to impact communities positively through the feed and read tsangaya project.
Also speaking, the head of the Tsangaya Mallam Abdullahi Umar Titi, who traced its establishment 72years ago also commended all those who have contributed in one way or the other in sustaining his late father’s legacy.
He specifically paid glowing tribute to Halima Factor for improving the fortunes of the school and giving the structures a facelift.
