RIFAN special project recovers harvest from Gombe women cluster
The RIFAN special project in Gombe State has started recovering dry season farm input loan from women cluster farmers.
The Gombe State Chapter of the RIFAN Special Project under the leadership of Abubakar Muhammad Bello, had engaged all categories of farmers including established women clusters as beneficiaries.
Speaking during an interview with Periscope Nigeria, Hajiya Zainab, a cluster head from Gombe, revealed that she had commenced effort geared towards recovering the dry season harvest of her cluster.
According to Zainab, currently her cluster had submitted 26 bags of rice to the Special Project warehouse in Deba.

She said, “I want to use this medium to commend Alh. Abubakar Muhammad Bello, Gombe State Coordinator RIFAN Special Project, Alh. Aminu Goronyo National President RIFAN, and CBN Governor Mr Godwin Emefele for their effort in sustaining and improving farming through the subsidised Anchor Borrowers Programme in the state.”
Our correspondent reports that effort at making more recoveries from more women clusters across the Local Government Areas of the State is in progress.
