Seven days after bagging Denmark Youth championship title, Mailantarki Care FC wins 2022 Norway Cup
Barely seven days after winning the 2022 Dana Cup Int’l Youth Championship in Denmark, the formidable Mailantarki Care Football Academy has on Saturday emerged winners of the 50th edition of the World largest Youth Championship, Norway Cup 2022 beating host KFUM FK 2-0 in the main pitch of the Ekeberg Sports Complex in Oslo on Saturday 6th August, 2022.

The host KFUM were undone few minutes before the break after Muhammed Mouro’s beautifully inviting cross from the right flank was brilliantly converted by Miko Dalha in the centre to send the Mailantarki’s Norwegian supporters into wild jubilation from the stands.
This was disclosed to Periscope Nigeria in Gombe on Saturday in a statement issued by Adamu Ahmed, the media officer of the club.

Abdulaziz Maiyadi who netted a beauty goal minutes before the end of the entertaining encounter emerged highest goal scorer for the team with 12 goals followed by Miko Dalha with 8 goals.
The feat achieved by the Honourable Khamisu Ahmed Mailantarki’s boys is the first for a club to go all the way and win both senior categories in Denmark and Norway same year.
However beside the respective glories in both cities of Hjørring and Oslo, Mailantarki boys’ historic display pulled much attentions of top notch football managers across the two host countries and of course negotiations were reached while others are ongoing for the players to tied up to a profession careers.
During the tournament, Norwegians were fun of praises for the only Nigerian football academy- Mailantarki Care FC, as the foreign fans increased by every match until the trophy was eventually won by the Hon Khamisu Ahmed Mailantarki side.
The glorious contingent are expected to Jet out of Oslo on Sunday to Copenhagen enroute Istanbul before connecting to Abuja bound plane for the final destination.
