Governor Yahaya sympathises with the families of Justice Idi Apollos, Yusuf Bello (Horse Power)
Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has sympathised with the family of Justice Idi Apollos over the death of their father Baba Idi Buthi who died recently at the 87.

Represented by the Secretary to the Gombe State Government Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, the Governor described the death of the octogenarian as a great loss to his family and the State as a whole.
Governor Yahaya remarked that the late Baba Idi Buthi was a friend to his grandfather whose sense of responsibility and forthrightness manifested in the lives of his children who are now forces to be reckoned with especially in the temple of justice.
The Governor observed that it is heartwarming that the law of natural selection provided the opportunity for children of the deceased to superintend over the committal service of their father saying “It would have been devastating if the situation was reversed.”
He therefore encouraged the family of the deceased to take solace in the fact that the late Baba Idi Buthi, lived a fulfilled life of service to God and humanity
Responding, a son to the deceased Shuaibu Idi expressed gratitude to Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for the show of concern describing the visit as deeply consoling.
In the same vain, Governor Yahaya had shortly after the condolence visit to the family compound of the late Baba Idi Buthi in Billiri town, proceeded to Shelah village to condole with Yusuf Bello who lost his wife Margret Yusuf at the age of 56.
The Governor whose condolence message was conveyed by the Secretary to the Gombe State Government Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi told the grieving family that the Governor was saddened over the death of Margaret Yusuf.
While relishing past memories, Professor Njodi disclosed that the deceased husband was his primary School teacher and the late Margaret Yusuf as a quintessential mother.
He enjoined the family to accept the death of the late Margaret Yusuf, as an act of the Almighty God and to take solace in the fact that the deceased lived a life worthy of emulation.
On his part, a family member of the deceased Faruk Arab Yusuf, lauded Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, for Identifying with them in their time of distress.
He said the visit by a delegation from the State Government would go a long way to pacify their grief and thereby pledged the support and solidarity of the people of Shellah to the administration of Governor Inuwa Yahaya.
Also speaking, the Village Head of Shellah expressed gratitude to the Governor for the visit and assured him of his community’s unflinching support towards his second term ambition.
Among the State Government delegation to the condolence visit include Commissioners, Special Advisers and Special Assistants among other top Government functionaries.
