Dankwambo mourns Santana, Magajin Garin Deba
Former Governor of Gombe State, Dr. Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo, has mourned an elder statesman Muhammad Santana, over his passing.
Dankwambo, who is the Senatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), for Gombe North, made this condolence message known in a Facebook post shared on his verified account.
He said, “We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return. I was shocked when the news of the death of elder Alhaji Muhammad Santana (Magajin Garin Deba), who answered the call of our creator this morning.
“The loss of Baba Santana is a great loss that affects the people of Gombe State, considering the contribution he made since the struggle of finding Gombe State and his contribution to building the state and the development of our people.”
While condoling the people of Yalmatu Deba, the former Governor urged God to forgive the deceased his shortcomings.
“On behalf of myself, my family and all the people, I am sending my condolences to the kingdom of Deba, the family and relatives of this old man, with the request of Allah SWT to forgive him and grant him paradise.
“May God bless his family and give us the patience to bear this loss,” Dankwambo prayed.
