Overtime past presidents are accorded some level of respect having served in the capacity for a stipulated time.
However, there are things that they can’t easily do on their own with Security Services for their protection and safety.
No wonder, alot of persons can give an arm to get to the reputable position.
1. He is not allowed to drive a car by himself.
2. He can not go out alone.
3. His mails must be opened, searched and read by the Secrets service before he can read it
4. His computer and phone can be searched regularly by the Secrets service.
5. He must be a good US Ambassador when he leaves office.
6. He is paid $900k to resettle himself and family when he leaves office in addition to the 400k annual payment for life
7. He is allowed by the Library Act to build a Library and he can not sugarcoat the document collections meaning, the library must contain but good and bad stuff about his presidency.
8. His wife and children are under the watch of US Secret service for life.
9. He can’t travel out of town or country without clearance from Secret service.
10. He can’t even have access to his fund without the Secret service checking why and how his bank account is doing.
