Gombe Govt Commends Hotelier’s Association in the State

Gombe State Ministry of Trade, Industry and Tourism has asked the Gombe Hoteliers and Lodging Proprietors Association to key into Government’s policies by prompt payment of taxes.
Our Correspondent reports that Government also urged them to be vigilant and update their facilities and ensure cleanliness in order to continue to attract Government, Corporate organisations and individual patronage in the state.
The State Commissioner of Trade, Industry and Tourism, Alhaji Nasiru Aliyu Mohammed, who stated this in the commendation letter to the Association said that the Government noted with satisfaction the exclusive services rendered during the Seventh North-East Governors Forum Meeting held in Gombe.
He disclosed that their services had continued to attract guests from Government, Corporate organisations and individual patronage in the state.
The Commissioner said that their services rendered had contributed towards ensuring the cleanliness of the hotels and created enabling environment to their esteemed VIP guests during and after the meeting.
He said, “I hereby Commend you profoundly for the wonderful services you rendered that is yearning towards uplifting the hoteliers hospitality in the Jewel in the Savannah. He disclosed.
“Your Association will continue to cooperate and key into Government’s policies by prompt payments of taxes, vigilant, update of facilities and cleanliness in order to continue attracting Government, corporate and individual patronage,” the Commissioner said.
