2023: Youths will benefit more if Tinubu is elected says Gombe-Abuja trekker
31-year-old Mohammed Umar who recently trekked a 425-kilometre distance from Gombe to Abuja, to draw support for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate for the 2023 poll said Nigerian youth would benefit more from a Tinubu presidency in 2023.
Umar, a member of TinKas Tinubu/Shettima Support Group, who told our Correspondent through telephone that his decision to walk from Gombe to Abuja was to show support for Tinubu, ahead of the 2023 poll.
He said Nigerian youth would be presented huge opportunities that will keep them too busy to engage in other ventures that do not profit them.
He said the kind of leadership that Tinubu provided in Lagos State as governor which created a lot of opportunities for Nigerians particularly youth and women would be replicated in Nigeria.
“Tinubu is competent, capable, innovative and progressively minded in his approach to governance and we have seen it in how he did it in Lagos.”
Umar said if Nigerians elect Tinubu and Shettima in 2023, they would experience good governance.
He said in spite of the fact that he trekked a 425-kilometre distance, he had no regret and that he was ready to galvanize continuous support for Tinubu and Shettima.
Umar said his resolve to sacrifice for Tinubu was not for material gains but for the millions of youth and women who will be the ultimate beneficiary of the good governance that Tinubu’s administration would deliver.
“I am only requesting my leader Tinubu to come and inaugurate our campaign office in Gombe because we want to use that office to mobilise over three million youth in the Northeast for Tinubu-Shettima’s victory in 2023.”
The father of three advised Nigerian youths and women to see the Tinubu and Shettima ticket as the only route to improvement in their welfare and wellbeing.
“I am aware of some fake news against Tinubu by enemies of democracy, I call on youths and women to be wise in 2023; don’t allow them to deceive you because Tinubu is the real deal,” he said.
