BATCH C STREAM II: RESTRATEGISE FOR A SUCCESSFUL EXERCISE – MRS IMONI TELLS CAMP OFFICIALS
Mrs Ada Imoni, the State Coordinator NYSC Gombe has called on Camp officials to plan and restrategise as they commence the 2022 Batch C Stream II Orientation Course, adding that efforts must be redoubled as every Orientation Camp has its peculiarities.
“This meeting will enable us set the tone for a hitch-free and rewarding Orientation Course. I look forward to contributions and suggestions on how best to make this exercise a huge success. I appeal to Security Personnel on Camp to work in harmony and be vigilant throughout the Orientation Course,” She said
Imoni, emphasised on the need for Camp Officials to attend every Camp activity as contained in the course content , in order to set good example for the Corps members to emulate.
The State Coordinator said, “We must take the task ahead of us with all seriousness. We are moulding characters and it is pertinent we lead by example.”
She gave stern warning on extortion, over socialisation, drunkenness and other vices that could drag the good name of the Scheme in the mud, adding that ,all forms of indiscipline must be done away with.
Also Speaking, The Camp Commandant, Major DC Agbo in his remarks assured the house of his commitment to the security of camp participants.
Meanwhile, the Camp Director, Mr Gabriel Watsu Vandu, called on Camp officials to be alive to their responsibility as lackadaisical attitude would not be tolerated.
