Sarkin Shanu Attends ‘Legend of Burtai’ Launch as Book Presenter
Abubakar Muhammad Sani, also known as Sarkin Shanun Yamaltu, was on Tuesday present at the launching of the ‘Legend of Burtai’ book.
Our Correspondent reports that the launch took place at Yar’adua event centre, Abuja.
The public presentation of the children and animated narration of the Legend of Burtai, was organised by Arojah Concept in collaboration with Sprezzatura Publishing.
The book was authored by Dr. M. S. Abubakar and reviewed by Award-Winning Author of Children’s Literature, Critics and Folklorist, Dr. Lizi Ben-Iheanacho.
While presenting the book Bello, said he has gone through the content of the book, especially where, the importance of hard work and dedication of service to the country would impress more patriotism among the children.
He said, “The Legend of Burtai was well written with consideration to so many factors that include dedication, hard work and patriotism of citizens which would eventually give the children hope and shade more light on the impact of contributing to your country.
“The book has come at the right time and situation where children’s hope, knowledge and wisdom need to be built at the grassroot stages, so that they will grow with the love of our country Nigeria at heart.”
Bello added, “It’s also very important to recognise and appreciate the efforts of legends the likes of His Excellency, Tukur Yusuf Burtai, who will subsequently encourage others including the children to have it in mind that every achievement is recognised and appreciated.”
