150 Gombe Central Youths Get Sarkin Shanu Foundation ICT Training
Sarkin Shanu Foundation has sponsored the enrolment of more than 150 youths from Akko and Yamaltu/Deba for ICT training as part of its Youth Empowerment Programme.

The participants stand are no few than 150 young people that would obtain skills in different computer software, accessories and hardware repairs.
The training include; graphic design, web design, typesetting, basic HTML, PHP & Python, Microsoft office and Computer Accessories Repair.
According to a message sent to the participants by the Executive Director of the Foundation, Abubakar Muhammad Bello, which reiterated his commitment to the progress and development of young people.

He revealed that the goal was to ensure the youth and women are empowered with the 21st-century skills that would put them in the pool of competitive apprentice.
The message further read, “The skills you’re currently enrolled in are globally needed with a potential of making all of you employers, not employee, I trust that you will utilise the skills and knowledge obtained from this training.
“I want to also congratulate all of you for the privilege of being part of the participants and urge you to utilise the skills you will acquire in the training to get a reliable source of income and by extension empower as many as possible young people in the community.”
