Appeal court ruling, a prove of our claims- Taraba APC
By Terna Chikpa, Jalingo
Taraba state chapter of All Progressives Congress APC has said, the second appeal court ruling in favour of senator Emmanuel Bwacha, in a case brought by Senator Yusu A Yusuf, was a prove of the party’s true position that there was primary election in the state.
Mr. Aaron Artimas the party’s publicity secretary stated this while reacting to senator Bwacha’s second victory at the appeal court in Abuja.
Artimas noted that Taraba was in a face of massive misinformation especially in the APC that the party doesn’t have a governorship candidate for the 2023 election.
“The people were still doubting that APC doesn’t have a candidate for the governorship but today’s judgement is a confirmation that truly, there was primary and senator Emmanuel Bwacha is the party’s governorship candidate.
“The appeal court in Abuja, just as the one Yola today said, they agreed with the results of APC primary election brought by all the 168 council wards in the state as testified by the election monitoring team.
“By this ruling today, we wish to call on the aggrieved members of our party to shield their sword and join hands with senator Bwacha to rescue the state from the collapsing situation,” Aaron reacted.
