CP Etim seeks Cooperation of traditional rulers in Gombe

Gombe State Commissioner of Police CP. Oqua Etim has visited the Emir of Gombe, His Royal Highness, Alh. Abubakar Shehu Abubakar lll.
Our Correspondent reports that the monarch is the Chairman Council of Emirs and Chiefs in Gombe State.
Etim, was there to solicit for his royal support and prayers in policing the state since he assumed office last November, 2022, after his elevation by the Inspector General of Police, IGP, Usman Alkali.
The CP who discussed myriads of security issues concerning the State with the Emir commended the efforts of the His Royal Highness and his traditional rulers in assisting in security aspect of work in the state as the state is relatively peaceful due the support of all stakeholders.
He stressed that the peace being enjoyed in the State was as a result of their commitment and cooperation with the command and other security agencies, making the State the most peaceful in north Eastern part of the country.
In his response, Abubakar lll, assured the CP of his willingness to support and continue keeping the flag- flying in ensuring nothing temper with the peace enjoyed by the good people of the State.
