Gombe DG Due Process bags DAN MAKOYON CHAM title
The Paramount ruler of Cham chiefdom Dr. James Chachis, Nidu Gura Cham (Dumbo), has conferred on the Director General Due Process Bureau Gombe State, Alhaji Mohammed Babayola Isah, traditional title of “Dan Makoyon Cham”.
In a letter of appointment personally signed by the monarch, it partly read, “After close and keen look on your track record in selfless contributions and commitment towards humanity in the community and State at large, the Cham traditional council have decided to confer on you the prestigious title of Dan Makoyon Cham, to enable you relate well in matters that concerns the kingdom with the traditional ruler in all ramification.”
Reacting, the new Dan Makoyon Cham, Isah, appreciated the monarch for finding him worthy of such an exalted title, while assuring of his loyalty to the monarch, he promised to dedicate himself to serve the chiefdom, state and humanity.
