Gombe Gov Preaches Love, Tolerance @ Aishatu Abdullahi’s Fatiha
… Wishes couple Allah’s blessings
Gombe State Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya was among well wishers who attended the wedding fatiha of Aishatu Saddiqa Abdullahi, Daughter to the State Honourable Grand khadi and her spouse Mohammed Abdukadir Wanka.
The ceremony which took place at Tudun – Wada quarters Gombe was witnessed by hundreds of well wishers across different spheres of life to rejoice with the families of the bride and groom.
The wedding was consummated by Malam Bappa, after fulfilment of requirements according to Islamic injunction and payment of N250,000 Dowry.
Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, represented by Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Prof. Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, congratulated the State Grand khadi for the success of the event and also prayed Allah to bless the union.
He tasked the couple to imbibe the spirit of love, tolerance fear of Allah as their marriage last.
Some of the dignitaries that graced the wedding include; Serving and retired Justices, serving and retired Khadi’s of Sharia Court, Commissioners of Finance and Economic Planning Mohammad Gambo Magaji and his Energy and Minerals resources counterpart Sanusi Ahmad among others.
