Gombe PRO, Abubakar, Six others Receive IGP’s Commendation Letter
Gombe State Public Relations Officer ASP Mua’zu Mahid Abubakar, alongside six others recently received Inspector General of Police (IGP) Usman Alkali Baba, commendation letter.
The Hepa include; Gombe State Ppro Asp Mahid Muazu Abubakar @MaheedMuazu, Ppro Lagos @BenHundeyin, Fct @Jossy_Dannyking Delta @Brightgoldenboy @OyoPoliceNG Kano @ahkiyawa and Enugu, were commended for their proactiveness on social media, especially in engaging the general public and resolving challenges on the web swiftly.
Abubakar alongside the hexa, received their letters at the opening of the Nigeria Police Public Relations Officers Conference in Ibadan.
PERISCOPE NIGERIA reports that the conference was declared open by the Honourable Minister of Information and Culture, Alh Lai Mohammed.
IGP Baba, who was represented by the DIG FCID and Coordinating DIG South West DIG Johnson Babatunde Kokumo, lauded the distinguished Image Makers, while urging them not to relent in using their various positions to serve as a bridge between their commands, the people and the force.
Our Correspondent reports that the conference focused on strengthening strategic communication towards Police Reforms, Security and Integrity of 2023 General Elections.
In a chat with our Correspondent, Abubakar, lauded the Inspector General of Police for finding them worthy.
He noted the resolve of the police for free, fair and credible election, adding “We are ready to provide the necessary to have seamless 2023 electoral process.”
He said, “Kudos to the IGP Usman Alkali Baba, for providing the required quality leadership we deserve.”
