Gov Yahaya expresses optimism about 2023 elections outcome
The Governor of Gombe State, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has expressed optimism to triumph in the 2023 general election, alongside other candidates of All Progressives Congress.
Speaking on Thursday in sanani ward in Billiri North ward, just after touring 40 wards constituting Gombe South senatorial district.
Our Correspondent reports that Gombe South senatorial district comprise of Balanga, Kaltungo, Billiri and Shongom.
Yahaya said, “the small, male and the female are all in support of APC because they believe APC will deliver and that’s why I am absolutely sure that we will win the election from presidential to house of assembly by the grace of God.”
Responding to questions on the possibility of losing to the opposition, Yahaya added, “Why should I shake? I am determined and I have the support and followership I will not shake forever inshaAllah.”
While expressing optimism about the victory of APC in Gombe, he implored the electorate not to lose confidence.
He added, “I am absolutely confident because not only in gombe south but the entire gombe state I believe you’ve seen and you heard from senator Joshua, Victor. He (Joshua), was an ex deputy governor, former chairman an old time performer in politics victor is still in the House of Representatives and my self plus the support of all our other candidates.
“We shall make it by the grace of God the electorates should maintain and be steadfast in following the APC because we are on the part of progress and APC is the only progressive party in this country.”
