NNPP Campaign Train Reaches Deba, Mailantarki Consoles Victims of Farmer-Herder Clashes
The Gombe State Gubernatorial candidate of New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Khamisu Ahmed Mailantarki, has said if he succeeds in becoming governor in 2023 his government, “will give more priority to Security, Education and Agricultural sectors.”
Mailantarki stated this on Sunday in Deba, when he visited the area in company of hundreds of his supporters to commission NNPP offices in Deba town and called on people of the area to elect the party at all levels for more dividends of democracy.
Mailantarki and his entourage also moved to Kuri where he sympathised with the people of the area over the farmers and herders clashes that happened in the area recently and donated the sum of N1m to the affected people.
Responding, the District Head of Kuri represented by Kabiru Badamasi, thanked Khamisu Ahmed Mailantarki, for coming to sympathise with them and prayed Allah to reward him abundantly.
PERISCOPE NIGERIA reports that Mailantarki during the visit was accompanied by his running mate, Hamma Tanimu, party’s executives as well as his supporters.
