NYSC sensitises 2022 Batch C Stream II to gains of SAED
As part of NYSC Management’s effort to equip Prospective Corps members with the necessary Skills for self reliance, the Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development Programme was introduced into the Orientation Course content in 2012.

That assertion was made at NYSC Temporary Orientation Camp Amada, by the State Coordinator NYSC Gombe, ably represented by the Camp Director, Mr Gabriel Watsu Vandu, at the 2022 Batch ‘C’ Stream II Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development Programme.

Imoni, maintained that ten days have been allotted to hands-on training on camp by qualified trainers, after which, “Corps members are expected to continue with the post camp training during the course of the Primary assignment.”
On funding options and start up Capital, the State Coordinator said, “the Scheme is in Collaboration with Financial Institutions like Bank of industry, Central Bank and Access Bank among others.”

Meanwhile, in her welcome remarks, the Assistant Director Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development Programme, Hajiya Jummai Idris Reme, said the programme was divided into two components; in Camp and Post Camp in order to stem the tide of unemployment.

Alhaji Abdullahi Maidabino from National Directorate of Employment, sensitised Prospective Corps members on Entrepreneurship Development , while Mrs Mary Ibrahim Bahago CEO House of Dellah Collectibles and Mr Victor Akpan, the CEO Febstar International Driving School motivated Prospective Corps members on the need to embrace Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development Programme.
