Mba Sunny Ogbonna, Chief Executive Officer of Proficient Capital venture, whose head office is located in Abuja, is alleged to be at large, following fraud allegations.

Sunny

Popularly known as Sunny, was allegedly the man behind the the financial malpractices the organisation is accused of.

Based on an International passport of  Ogbonna, which was obtained by our Correspondent the suspect was born on 27th September, 1986 in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Our Correspondent reports that Proficient Capital is an uncollateralised loan capital agency, they also collect fixed deposit and issue a promissory note with interest rate span for the period agreed.

It is however, stated that interest and principal repayment will be added and paid due at stipulated date
However, this month the CEO of this ventures has absconded with all the money deposited and those who invested have declared him wanted.

PERISCOPE NIGERIA reports it against standard banking practice to give loans without Collateral security due to credit risk. The borrower might renege on agreed terms and conditions and as such the loan might become non-performing.This leads to loss to the Bank and reduced profit.

It is however, pertinent that citizens should do financial transactions with institutions that follow rules enacted by BOFIA ( Banking and Other Financial Institutions Act) and are regulated by NDIC ( Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation and CBN (Central Bank) Acts.

A victim who allegedly paid N12 million, said he was promised N444 million but unfortunately, the company reneged on its payment promise.
