Yuletide: Gombe SSG felicitates with christians
… Calls for fervent prayers
As Christians in Gombe State join their counterpart across the world to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, the Secretary to Gombe State Government Prof. Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, has felicitated with faithfuls on the joyous and memorable occasion.
In message to commemorate the Yuletide season, Njodi enjoined christians to imbibe the fine and exemplary life of Jesus Christ who through out his life time on earth was without blemish.
Njodi tasked Christians to use Christmas period to offer prayers for the country, especially as the nation braces up for the forthcoming general election and the National Population Census,” the SSG said.
The Secretary to the State Government described the National events as germane to national development and therefore called on all and sundry to be patriotic and eschew all forms of violence while the two exercises lasted.
Professor Njodi used the occasion to reiterate the commitment of the present administration of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, “towards the systematic improvement of the quality of life of the people in the state.”
