According to Njodi, the gesture is aimed at extending love and sacrifice for which Christmas Exemplifies.

Speaking at the distribution exercise which took place at the country home of the Secretary to the Gombe State Government, the APC Zonal chairman South Musa Wali, observed that the gesture is a personification of Prof. Njodi’s magnanimity to supporters of the party in particular and humanity in general.

Wali called on politicians within his sphere of influence to emulate the generosity of Njodi, “so that party leaders and supporters will not have to pile unnecessary pressure on the giving few,” he said.

The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Balanga Local Government Area Ali Kachalla, said the gesture will go a long way to cushion the effect of out of pocket spending for many who are inundated by the harsh economic reality.

He then commended Njodi for his milk of human kindness.

Some women group leaders added that the gesture could not have come at a time when the prices of food especially rice is way beyond the reach of the common man.
