ANLWWDI distributes food, non-food items to single mothers

Alone Not Lonely Women With Disability Initiative (ANLWWDI), is the fastest growing women/female-focused disability Non-Government organisation (NGO), putting yielding smiles to less privileged in the society.
ANLWWDI, whose core aim is to serve as a means of emancipation, as its provides help and support to widows, single mothers and young girls with disability in a bid to promote inclusive society.
According to the Founder and Executive Director, Ms. Oluwasola Deborah Oladeji, “Being a single mother doesn’t happen by choice. Many unforeseen occurrences are responsible for the plight of single mothers.”

Oladeji, who is also referred to as Ms Shola, also outlined the focus area and critical objectives of how her NGO would operate, some of which include; encouraging single mothers and women with disabilities to utilise entrepreneurial skills development to overcome poverty and safeguarding the rights of single mothers and women with disabilities to render help to them across Nigeria.
Before the launching, ANLWWDI, raised at least N160,000 to support single mothers, widows with disabilities during yuletide with Food and household relief materials in Abuja FCT, Nigeria.
The fund which came as a result of a crowd-funded effort from well-meaning individuals and corporate organisations, were used in the purchase and distribution of food & relief material.
Our Correspondent reports that no fewer than 20 single mothers, widows, and young girls with disabilities from the different disability clusters (Physically challenged, Deaf-Blind, etc.) were beneficiaries of the relief initiative.
In a closing remark, the founder acknowledged the guests present despite the short notice and hoped that through her NGO, many lives would be changed, and many individuals and organisations would partner with them to create a massive impact.
“ANLWWDI looks forward to many successful partnerships and collaborations,” Oladeji, the Executive Director said.
