Dankwambo Canvasses Support for Atiku in Gombe
The former Governor of Gombe State, Ibrahim Dankwambo, has canvassed support for the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar.
Dankwambo, spoke during rallies held in Balanga North Swa, Gelengu, Talasse, Bangu and Degri/Sikkam/Kulani wards as the team proceeded to Balanga South.

The former governor who is also a senatorial candidate of Gombe North appreciated the people of Balanga for their far-reaching support to him as a sitting-governor.
While appealing for their support for Abubakar and other candidates of the party, the party leader said, “A vote for Atiku and other candidates of PDP is a vote for development and progress.”

Earlier, at the Bala Waja’s palace, Mohammed Danjuma lauded the team for the visit.
He appreciated them and promised to continue to pray, ‘for peace and unity in Waja land, the state and Nigeria at large.”
Also speaking, the Governorship Candidate of the PDP Jibrin Barde, while seeking for votes said he would establish 50 billion naira fund for youth and women empowerment.
“Another fifty billion naira to skill acquisition and entrepreneurship,” Barde added.
The candidate of the PDP while addressing thousands of his supporters in Gombe South promised “to open the Balanga dam for dry season farming,” once he is elected Governor, Barde added.
Also, Bayero Nafada, the Director-General of the Campaign, acknowledged that the traditional leaders play crucial role in maintaining peace and unity among people, adding that, “PDP will continue to give maximum respect to traditional leaders.”
