Gaffer blames draw on fatigue, substitution, others
….as Doma United FC draw Sunshine Stars
The Technical Adviser of Doma United Football Club of Gombe, Akinade Onigbinde, says the draw could be excused for the tiredness of his boys.
Onigbinde, also blamed it on the substitution made during the match involving Sunshine Stars at the Pantami stadium, where they drew 1-1.
Our Correspondent reports that Doma United was recently promoted into the Nigeria Professional Football League.
In the maiden match on Sunday, Chibuike Charles of Doma United scored in the 38th minute into the life of the match, before it was equalised in the added time by the Sunshine Stars.

He disclosed that the equalisation was a mistake, which was aided by some lapses from the goalkeeper, adding that it would not have negative consequences on the team’s future performance.
Speaking during the post match interview Onigbinde said, “The players are tired and we made a mistake in the substitution but like I said, it is a lesson learnt and the error comes from the goalkeeper which we are going to work on.”
Also speaking, Agoye Olumide Technical Adviser of Sunshine Stars, lauded the tact of his boys, adding, “It’s a very good one, a draw and it very good for us considering the long journey it took for us to come here.”
He attributed the draw to the attitude of the boys, “our boys wanted it so much, they wanted to win and not to lose but they were able to savage a point. We will push and push to get three points in our next outing,” Olumide added.
