Peter Obi’s campaign train visits Gombe state, Endorses Keftin Amuga as state Guber candidate
The 2023 presidential candidate for labour Party Mr. Peter Obi endorsed the candidature of Hon. Keftin Amuga, as the Gombe state gubernatorial candidate during it’s campaign and visit in the state.
Peter Obi endorsed Amuga, when he presented the candidate with the party’s flag at the Pantami township stadium during the inauguration of the presidential campaign in the state, before a mammoth crowd.
The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi urged supporters and electorates to resist the temptations of voting based on sentiments in the 2023 polls.
He said, “Don’t vote for anybody because he’s from the North, if they tell you they are from the North, tell them you are hungry, your children are hungry and have no jobs.”
He vowed to implement the well articulated charter of demand presented by the Guber candidate Keftin Amuga to rescue the state if elected as president on February 25, 2023.
On the part of the vice presidential candidate for Labour Party, Mr Datti Baba Ahmed said supporting the Guber candidate Keftin Amuga would bring prosperity to residents of the state.
The state gubernatorial candidate of Labour Party, Keftin Amuga in a speech pointed out his four points agenda, saying he will address the plights of farmers/herders clashes, restore the dignity of the traditional institution, tackle unemployment, address youth restiveness amongst other.
According to him, the state has been plunged into huge debt by the current APC administration in the state.
He urged eligible voters to collect their PVC, stressing that it the needed passport to ensuring a change.
“Do not trade your permanent voter’s card PVC with money, you are only selling your rights to choose credible leaders if you trade it for money,” he added.
