…….says referee most terrible

Abia Warriors Coach Erasmus Onu, on Wednesday blamed his team’s defeat on what he described as ‘Abuja solidarity’, adding that the officiating was terrible.
Our Correspondent reports that Usman Musa of Doma United scored the goal at the 50th minute of the game at Pantami stadium, Gombe State, bringing the team’s points to 12.
Lamenting the outcome of the game, Onu, said this was the worst officiation done by a professional referee.
According to him, “I have seen officiating; I have been beaten at home, I have drawn away. This referee and the crew are terrible, the Officiating is terrible, the way she takes her decision is questionable but I’m not the one to decide what it is is terrible.”
Responding on why the referee’s decision was considered terrible, Onu said, “it is terrible let them go and watch it. I have never complained before, go and ask anywhere I don’t complain but this one is terrible.”
On the implication of such officiating on football, Onu called League Management Committee to look into his worries.
“LMC should look into it. Maybe it’s Abuja solidarity; you watched it and you saw it . This woman is one of the most terrible referees I have ever seen. The result is outcome of the referee,” he added.
Also speaking, Coach of Doma United FC, Akinade Onigbinde, described the match as tough, adding “It was a very tough job; we worked very hard for it and the players also did their best to come out the first half was very tough.”
Onigbinde said, “We are alittle bit up, with 12 points now. We don’t want to drop any point at home. We will fight for all the points at home then go away way and patch it up. We are targeting 3rd position.”
On the officiating, he added “the match is okay, we had a clean penalty. The coach the way he reacted today, he is an elderly man with due respect as a coach he is not supposed to behave like that, calling the boys to come out of the field when there is no issue of any bad officiating, what we are seeing in Nigeria we can’t see it in advance country. When the game is on you are calling the players to come out is totally wrong.”
