NACOPPIN 2023: THREE DAYS TO PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION DAY
ACCURATE VOTING FORMULA:
COUNT TO PARTY LOGO NO. 11 (ELEVEN) ON THE INEC VERIFIED BALLOT PAPER, THUMBPRINT ON RIGHT SIDE FOR OBI-DATTI PRESIDENTIAL TICKETFREE EDUCATION AND MEDICAL HEALTH SERVICES FOR ALL NIGERIANS, AND FULL FUNDING OF BOTH SECTORS.
We must remember that the public Universities, at the Federal and State levels, were shut down and closed for 8-months in 2022. This was because the nationwide Association of Senior Staff Union, ASUU, mostly Lecturers and Professors, were locked in unending negotiations over funding, of the Universities, and their salaries and welfare.
The students remained at home during the 8-months of the strike. The central issue was the funding of the education sector: not enough money was being allocated to education. Increase in students’ fees, provision of amenities and infrastructure for learning and research become hostages in the process, and frequent stoppages ensue. But can FREE EDUCATION AND MEDICAL HEALTH SERVICES be provided for all Nigerians? What will be the state of development of Nigeria’s Human Resources if the current state of underfunding continue?
Can Free Medical health care facilities be provided to all Nigerians? Is it fair that babies and infants are born in Nigerian hospitals and the baby and the Mother are detained for non payment of hospital bills? Nigerians suffer from ordinary to peculiar ailments and get paraded in public streets, begging for monetary support to buy drugs. Can full funding of Medical health care be borne by Government, to enable a national Policy of FREE medical services?
The answer to the question of full funding of education and medical health services, to enable all Nigerians to access both sectors free, is yes! A policy that prioritizes both sectors diligently can provide the services and facilities of both sectors. Employed Nigerians, with proof of income can contribute appropriately to medical services provided them, but education can be completely FREE. But families or individuals who opt to fund their own education privately, should be permitted to do so.
Voting for Peter Obi and Ahmed Datti, adopting the Vote casting formula, of counting down to party logo No. 11, to vote for them, will greatly increase the chances of persuading the new government to institute FREE EDUCATION, MEDICAL SERVICES AND FULL FUNDING OF BOTH SECTORS.
Nigerians will greatly reap the benefits from free education and free medical services, and peace, tranquility and prosperity will be the highest benefit of our people: patriotism and love of NIGERIA will blossom.
We must Vote for OBI-DATTI Presidential ticket in three days from now.
