Sarkin Shanu leads Rice Farmers to Visit Gombe Gov

Gombe State Coordinator RIFAN Special Project, Alhaji Abubakar Muhammad Sani Bello, on Friday led delegation of the Rice Farmers Association of Nigeria, Special Project, Gombe State chapter on a courtesy visit to Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, Governor of Gombe State.


The delegation was on a Thank you visit to the Governor for giving the Association a level playing ground to implement its project peacefully.
The Governor was represented by his deputy Dr Manasseh Daniel Jatau, at Banquet Hall.
Speaking, Bello appreciated Gombe State Government for giving the RIFAN Special Project a platform to implement all its programmes effectively for the benefit of the citizenry.
Bello said, “I want to use this opportunity to on behalf of Rice Farmers especially beneficiaries of the RIFAN Special Project extend our profound gratitude to Gombe State Government and His Excellency the Executive Governor for all the support to implement our programmes.
“We have enjoyed the peaceful environment of Gombe State to carry out all programmes which was a result of collaborative work from Government and security Stakeholders hence the reason to come and appreciate you for that”.
Responding, Dr Manassah Jatau appreciated the RIFAN Special Project Gombe State Chapter for coming, while reiterating the Gombe State Government’s commitment to ensure all programmes benefit the citizenry.
He further commended the leader of the delegation, Bello, for the good work, especially humanitarian efforts towards ensuring less privileged people are empowered.
In attendance are Executives of the Gombe State Chapter of the RIFAN Special Project, the Leadership of Sarkin Shanu Foundation for Youth and Community Development, Rice Farmers and Well-wishers.
