Seyi Tinubu sponsors feeding, treatment of 8,000 in Gombe

No fewer than 8000 residents of Akko Local Government Area of Gombe State, on Wednesday, benefitted from free feeding and medicals sponsored by Seyi Tinubu, son of All Progressives Congress Presidential candidate.

Our Correspondent reports that the medical outreach was organised by Klytical Allied Nigeria Limited, where beneficiaries got drugs and eyeglasses and those with severe cases were referred to hospitals.
Speaking on the essence of the outreach, Dr Vincent Okpara team lead said aside the welfare support, it provided them the opportunity to discuss the health manifesto of the APC presidential candidate.


He said, “The free medical outreach catered for 5000 people across the LGA; we conducted and provided them free drugs, medicated glasses and referred those whose test required tertiary health institution. The free feeding programme targeted less privileged specifically the IDP community, where we fed 3,000 people. It was sponsored by Seyi Tinubu son of APC Presidential candidate.”
On the choice of Akko LGA, Okpara explained that it was because Akko, “is the largest LGA with the highest number of eligible voters.”
“We have been able to tell people what they will benefit when Asiwaju Bola Tinubu becomes the president in terms of the health sector there will be improved health sector in his time, the emergency medicine is already comatose life will be given to it. An average citizen sees ambulance as something that carry corpses that’s not supposed to be so.
“We came to tell them the emergency health service during Asiwaju will be revitalised. We are about to benefit alot even with the National Health insurance scheme,” he said.
On his part, Emir of Akko Alhaji Umar Atiku thanked the team for choosing Akko, he told his subject that such gesture should be reciprocated, “by ensuring they get their PVCs and vote for Tinubu,” he urged them.
