…as Gombe SSG, other party bigwigs remain upbeat of party’s victory
With less than one week to the Governorship and State Houseof Assembly election the All Progressives Congress in Dogon ruwa District of Kaltungo Local Government Area of the State has received a boost by at least 5000 members.

This was sequel to the defection of Muhammad Umar Isa, and his followers from the African Democratic Congress ADC.
Isa had contested for the seat of Kaltungo/Shongom Federal Constituency in the House of Representative in the just concluded Presidential and National Assembly election.
Receiving the defectors in Dogon ruwa, Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, represented by the Secretary to the Gombe State Government Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi urged the people of the area to keep fate with the APC by voting for the present administration in the state.

Njodi remarked that Governor Yahaya has performed credibly well in the provision of social economic and infrastructural development in the last three and half years and enjoined the people to maintain the status quo for consolidation.
Speaking earlier, the chief defector, Isa said his decision to move to the All Progressives Congress along with his supporters was base on Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya’s political charisma and administrative dexterity.
In their good will messages the member representing Kaltungo East in the state House of Assembly Yerima Ladan Gaule, and other frontline politicians in the area assured Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya of a resounding victory.
Njodi had earlier in Dogon ruwa sympathised with the family of Isiaka Shuaibu, over the death of his Aunty Halimatus Sadiya Muhammadu.
