Gombe Gov sympathises with family of late Agric PS Dr Molta, Mr Gajere

…gives cash donation to bereaved families
Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has commiserated with the family of Late Dr Danladi Bala Molta, at their family residence in Banganje, Billiri Local Government Area.


The Governor’s condolence message was delivered by the Deputy Governor Dr Manassah Daniel Jatau, who led a high powered delegation of Government functionaries to Banganje, the deceased home town.
In the message which was contained in a letter signed by the Governor himself and read to the family by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, the Governor urged the family to accept the death as the act of God which can never be reversed.
The letter partly read, ” it is with deep sense of sorrow but with total submission to the will of Allah, that we learnt of the sudden death of Dr. Molta Danladi Idris which occured on 22nd March, 2023.
” On behalf of my humble self, the Government and the good people of Gombe State kindly accept our heartfelt condolences. May the Almighty Allah grant the family the courage and the fortitude to bear the loss. May his soul rest in peace.”
Addressing the sympathisers, the Deputy Governor admonished them to accept death as one of the mysteries of life that only God Almighty has knowledge of and control over.
He said, ” There are things more painful than death.The disappearance of a loved one, and the lost of sanity could be more painful than death. Therefore, people should learn to appreciate God even in circumstances of death of relations who receive befitting burials. After all death is a necessary end of all mortals.
” As religious people,the scripture teaches us to mourn not as people without hope,since we know,we have hope of meeting again.”


In their separate responses, the Overseeing District Head of Banganje, Col. Boyi Sallah ( retd) and Mr. B. B. Molta, a Paternal uncle to the deceased appreciated the visit and support given to the family during their bereavement.
They appreciated the care of the Governor, and the presence and support of the commissioner of Agriculture, Alhaji Mohammed Magaji Gettado, and the staff of the Ministry of Agriculture where the deceased was working, praying God to reward them abundantly.
They congratulated the Governor over success of the election, pledged their unflinching support his administration and urged him to forgive and forget what happened during elections, regarding it as a normal process of political game.
The delegation was also at Lapan in Kaltungo Local Government Area where they consoled the family of late Aaron Gajere Yurkusi who died recently at the age of 69, leaving behind a wife, three children and relations to mourn his death.
The Deputy Governor conveyed the heartfelt condolences of the Government and people of Gombe State over the loss, praying God to grant them the fortitude to bear the loss.
Speaking on behalf of the family, Mr Ngalaku Latebo, appreciated the visit, praying God to reward them abundantly. He also congratulated Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya’s victory at the recent polls elections,as he wished him more efforts in providing dividends of democracy to the people of Gombe State.
In all these visits, there were cash donations presented to the families by the Secretary to the State Government on behalf of the Governor.
Other members of the delegation include; Hon. Commissioners of Information, Hon. Meshach Lauco, and his counterpart of the Ministry of Agriculture, Gettado and his directors as well as Special Advisers of Project Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation, Prof. Namala Amuga and that of Development Control and Enforcement, Captain Peter Bitrus Bilal.
Others are; Executive Secretary Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board Mr Ishaya Karu, Caretaker Chairperson, Billiri Local Government Council, Hon. Margaret Bitrus among others.
