Promise made, promise kept as Sarkin Shanu Foundation gives Car, N250,000 to NURTW Kumo branch
Alhaji Abubakar Muhammad Bello, has on Wednesday through Sarkin Shanu Foundation for Youth and Community Development handed a car and N250,000 to National Union of Road Transport Workers Kumo Branch at the union’s branch office in Kumo.

Bello pledged to support the forum with a car and the money during his visit to the union’s branch office under construction last week as his support for the construction and enhancement of their activities.

The car was handed over to the Chairman of the Union through Alhaji Shagari Kumo, Alhaji Yahaya Raba and Saifullahi, On behalf of Bello.
In his acceptance speech, NURTW Kumo Branch’s Chairman extended his appreciation on behalf of all the Executives and Members of the Union to Bello, for his giant strides and kind gesture to the union which is the first of its kind.
“Sarkin Shanu has recognised and honoured us – and has been committing to the progress and development of this community, socially and in terms of human development that’s why we choose to commend him in grand style.
“As you can see today his good work has today reached our organisation – and all the Road Workers of Kumo and Akko Local Government which reaffirmed his commitment to the betterment of all and sundry,” Chairman added.
